RESPONSIBILITIES

The staff member is subordinate to and shall report directly to the Head of the Center;
Prepares planning and reporting documents (reports) on the instructions of the Head of the Center;
Participates in individual and collective scientific research activities;
Carries out the research tasks outlined in the annual work plan;
Carries out the applied research tasks outlined in the annual work plan;
Disseminates research results;
Actively participates in the meetings and gatherings of both the Center and Institute;
In adherence to the functions listed in these Regulations, carries out any other tasks or assignments of the Director of the Institute and the Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs;
Performs other duties established in the Labor Code of the Republic of Lithuania, the Law on Science and Studies of the Republic of Lithuania, the Statute and Regulations of the Institute, the Regulations of the Center, and other internal legal acts of the Institute.

In 2011, she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Lithuanian Philology and a teaching qualification from Vilnius Pedagogical University, and in 2015 a Master’s degree in Lithuanian Philology from the Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences. Since 2019, she has been studying as a graduate student at the Lithuanian Language Institute, Vytautas Magnus University and Klaipėda University.

She participated in the following projects of the Institute of the Lithuanian Language: in 2013 Tarmių leksikos ir fonetikos pokyčių fiksavimas ir mokslinis tyrimas (Recording and Researching Changes in Dialect Vocabulary and Phonetics), 2014–2016 – Collecting Dialectal Data for the Dictionary of the Lithuanian Language Card-file and the Audio Library of the Dialect Archive, 2018 – a project funded by the State Commission of the Lithuanian Language Western and Southern Aukštaitians: Research of Interaction between Dialects and other Languages.

She’s working at the Centre for Geolinguistics at the Institute of the Lithuanian Language since 2023.

Fields of research: dialectology, geolinguistics.
